Commercial and Industrial Development
The Commercial designation provides for development of a variety of retail and service commercial uses with the intent of supporting and complementing uses within the Plan and surrounding development.
Community Core to be Developed in Last Phase
This area contains the existing base runways and staging areas, the southern blimp hangar, and other facilities supporting airfield operations. The regulations and guidelines provide flexibility for a range of uses including mixed-use development projects, or a unique large-scale project(s) that would complete the Specific Plan area.
Neighborhood Retail
The principal source of demand for retail uses at the MCAS Tustin site will likely be based upon immediate area local residential growth.
Hotels - Overnight Accommodations
Restaurants, conference and convention rooms, apparel and sundry shops, and recreation facilities, will serve business travelers, recreational travelers, and other travelers to the area.
