Tustin Legacy offers various amenities to its residents and to the Tustin community as a whole. At the core of the Tustin Legacy ideology is the availability and accessibility to recreational uses. Numerous parks and open spaces have already been constructed throughout the community, and future neighborhood, community, and regional parks are being planned to support the recreational needs of both Tustin Legacy and City of Tustin residents alike. Many of the local parks already located within certain communities also provide private facilities which are available to the residents residing in the specific neighborhoods where the parks are located.
Currently in the design stages is the City’s future 24-acre community park to be located at the northwest corner of Valencia Avenue and Armstrong Avenue. Also in the conceptual planning stages by the County of Orange is their future 84-acre Urban and Regional Park to be located at the southeast corner of Valencia and Armstrong. In addition to the vast open spaces already located at Tustin Legacy and the City’s and County’s planned parks, an additional 170 acres of parks and opens spaces will be added throughout the balance of Tustin Legacy as part of the overall master development. Tustin Legacy is also adjacent to a regional trail system, offering 22-miles of multi-use trails traveling through six jurisdictions from the mountains to the ocean.
In addition to parks and open spaces, a wide variety of dining, shopping, and entertainment opportunities, including a 14-screen movie theater, are now located at the 1 million square-foot shopping and entertainment venue - The District at Tustin Legacy.
